| "Old Tech Meets New Tech at Nereid"
On the morning of November 4th, 2023, New York City Transit's St. Louis Car Company R33WF #9308, painted in World's Fair colors, trailed on a 6 car vintage train of Redbirds & Bluebirds as it passed a train of Bombardier R142's at Nereid Ave on IRT White Plains Road Line in the Bronx borough of NYC. The train took passengers on a nostalgia ride round trip between South Ferry Station in Manhattan and 239th Street Yard in the Bronx.
