Remarks & Notes
Off To Chatham! MTA Metro-North Railroad 208 (P32AC-DM, 40th Anniversary "Beachball") leads one of the peak hour direct trains from Grand Central Terminal to the current Harlem Line terminus in Wassaic, New York on the afternoon of October 25, 2023, seen passing through the Tremont Station on Tremont Avenue in the Bronx, New York. Never in the Metro-North did passenger service go all of the way to Chatham, New York, as it was ended by Penn Central on March 20, 1972, cut back to Dover Plains, and only later re-extended to Wassiac.
