1st Avenue Alco. On the early morning of Tuesday, October 17, 2023, MTA NYCT Subway Division C and NYNJ Rail moved another 12 Budd built R-32s off of MTA property and on to their final disposition. KLWX 253, a rebuilt Alco, was in use, a variation on the standard pair of KLW SE10Bs. The pair move the cars through the streets of 1st Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, the only true mid-street running left in the City Of New York.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
