| Kings of Kings at Kings.
Brooklyn Rapid Transit (BRT) gate car no. 1407 (Jewett / Pressed Steel Car Co., 1907) is the lead motor on a three-car NY Transit Museum train seen departing Kings Hwy station on the BMT Brighton Line during the 2023 Parade of Trains. These cars served the elevated lines of Brooklyn - which is also Kings County in the State of New York - until 1969, when they were finally retired with the cessation of service and abandonment of the Myrtle Avenue Line between Myrtle Ave-Broadway and Jay St Stations. |
