Conrail And The Rainbow Era. The fuel pad at the MTA Metro-North Railroad Croton Harmon Yard showed the most colorful lineup of the available on MNR yesterday, Monday, August 14, 2023. Newly wrapped kid on the block, MNCW 201, had just made its first run for the public in the Conrail/MTA (MNR 40th Anniversary) scheme, with MNCW 221 in the middle in standard paint, and MNCW 228 showing the New Haven Railroad tribute scheme. The 31 P32AC-DMs in Metro-North service were built between 1995-2001, but seemingly have not attracted as much in attention in their careers as they have in recent months with the addition of these 40th Anniversary heritage wraps.
