Biltmore Better. After a closure for several years, on May 8, 2023, the MTA reopened the "Biltmore Room" in Grand Central Terminal. The main change to the physical structure was the installation of 2 escalators to connect directly to Grand Central Madison. Retained was the famous "chalkboard" with the listing of trains of the past era, gone are the newsstand and shoe shine booths.
