Remarks & Notes
Crowded Station. New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) Lo-V car no. 5292 (Pullman, 1916-1925) is the southern motor on a 4-car NY Transit Museum special train laid up on the middle track at 161st St-Yankee Stadium Station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line. The Lo-V train, along with a 6-car "SMEE" train operated special nostalgia service for the Yankees home opener - R36 car no. 9586 (St. Louis Car Co., 1963-1964) is on the tail end of the latter. A pair of passing R142A trains on the 4 added to the crowds at the station, bringing even more sports fans to the already packed area.
