Engineering Inspection. Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) engineering inspection vehicle TC82, manufactured by Plasser, is seen crossing Borden Ave in Long Island City, Queens as it starts an inspection run back out to points east. This is clearly an unusual sight, as even other rail road employees at the adjacent facility are looking on!
