In the fall of1972, the fledgling Cumbres & Toltec RR organized their first ever photo freight, dubbed the Toltec Rattler. 50 years later the Toltec Rattler Redux, an event commemorating that first charter, left the Chama yard on a chilly post-snowstorm morning. Here we see #484, lettered in 1972 style, as it steams towards Apache crossing, just below Tanglefoot curve.
