The Brooklyn Bridge. Kansas City Southern's L-GP101, the Gulfport Local, crossed the Black Creek in Brooklyn, Mississippi on the late afternoon of September 29, 2022 with the all EMD trio of KCS 6048 (née-KCS 685, SD40-2, 6/1978), KCS 6092 (née-QNSL 200, SD40, 2/1969) and KCS 3206 (née-KCS 643, SD40-2, 2/1972). With the future of the Kansas City Southern-Canadian Pacific Railway merger coming closer to the present, capturing these colorful Southern Belles has become a priority for photographers. On its return to Gulfport, Mississippi from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, this is one of the few bridges that has enough open space to capture a wider image.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
