Colorado River Runner. Webb Rail's former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome 313 (WEBX 801044), former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built dome 549 (WEBX 801045), and former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) were on the rear of the Amtrak California Zephyr (Train 5) as it was hugging the edge of the Colorado River when it passed through in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on March 24, 2022. The views from this area are some of the best on the entire Amtrak Network, and having both the dome and observation cars only makes it harder to choose where to watch while traveling down the tracks.
