Remarks & Notes

The Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern operated a handful of LTEX tunnel motors for a while in 2021, including the 9282 still wearing the paint scheme of its original owner, Southern Pacific. The venerable locomotive is seen climbing one last hill on its way west toward Tracy, MN on a clear March evening.
