| A friendly wave is given by the crew as Bainbridge local L733 passes by at track speed in downtown Cairo. The weed covered sign in the right of the frame warns of close clearance ahead. The trained (no pun intended) eye can see the the crossing signal on the right is further from the track than typical. Not so long ago, a siding was here that served a small grain silo. Unfortunately, the close clearance sign is the only piece left of another lost rail served customer. |
