After a M.O.W. work window recently expired, three classic EMD SD40-3s with DMIR 408 leading now sits and waits for their turn to enter the CN Missabe Sub to head south while a T-Bird shuttle with a pair of Dash 8s and rock from the mine enters the yard. The old DMIR ore cars hauling the pellets on the U717 and the older DMIR ore cars hauling the taconite bearing rock on the U730 will probably outlive the power sets pulling them. |
