| As a surprise bonus to those riding the NYC Transit Museum's R9 nostalgia trip to Rockaway Park, the museum and the MTA brought out a set of R32 cars to provide several shuttle rides between Rockaway Park and Rockaway Boulevard. It was a real treat to those who believed the retirement runs in the winter were the last chance to easily ride and photograph these cars. The set used for these trips is the one that is primarily used for movie/tv filming on the subway. |
