DBR 1254 leads a special excursion train away from Pukekohe towards the Glenbrook Steel Mill, taking passengers for a journey along the Mission Bush branch a normally freight only line. Once there the DBR will run around the train and head back to Pukekohe.
Railway Enthusiasts Society has operated rail excursions around NZ since 1958, some steam hauled using rolling stock from Glenbrook Vintage Railway which it established in 1970's near Auckland. See www.railfan.org.nz
