Del Mar Lavender. The sun was out when Amtrak California/Amtrak CDTX 2109 (SC44, Siemens) was crossing San Dieguito Lagoon in Del Mar, California on the afternoon of Friday, April 1, 2022 in front of Mission Tower and the Del Mar Racetrack. A particularly colorful bouquet of sea lavender flowers adjoins the water and frames the trestle, exposed during a period of low tide.
