Remarks & Notes |
Diesel Power.
Magyar Államvasutak Class M44 no. 448 403 (Ganz, 1954-1971) is seen pulling a string of Romanian coaches out of the train hall at Budapest Keleti pályaudvar (Eastern station). These diesel shunters are one of the few types of diesel power that is regularly seen at Budapest's railway terminals, as all but one line out of the city has been electrified.
Also of interest in this photo are a MAV Stadler FLIRT EMU at far left, a Railjet trainset peeking out from behind the platform canopy, and a string of Slovakian coaches at far right. |
