| Over the River.
MBTA 3888 is seen leading a Green Line (E) train over the Lechmere Viaduct, crossing the Charles River into Cambridge, MA. The AnsaldoBreda Type 8 LRV is paired with an older Kinki Sharyo Type 7 LRV, as the Type 8's are low-floor for accessible boarding whereas the Type 7's are high-floor. The parking structure at the Museum of Science provides a great vantage point for views of the viaduct and skyline. The rolling lift bridge and tracks on the MBTA commuter rail line into North Station can be seen in the background as well. |
