| A 86 car loaded grain train slowly rolls south over the rugged roller coaster Shreveport Sub at MP 408. The train is between Hatton and Wicks, about 70 miles south of Heavener. On the back is a pair of EMDX yellow SD70's that assisted the train over many steep grades since being added in Pittsburgh, KS. At Wade, AR, most trains setout some if not all their DP consist units since the extra power is no longer needed for the trip. It is crazy though that the extra power has made over a 315 mile trip one way. |
