Remarks & Notes

The scenic route of the North Coast Limited remains out of use, but not abandoned, as seen in this view where it passes under I-15 in Butte, MT. Perhaps when BNSF acquires MRL they will consider putting this crossing of the Continental Divide back in service again. The yellow board on the signal permits trains to continue upgrade on a red signal, being prepared to stop with in there sight.
