GSMR 1702, having just wrapped up its passenger duties for the day, reverses past engine #1009 as it begins its trip back to the shops at Dillsboro. #1009 is the most recent addition to the railroad's roster, having arrived on the property last December. The livery honors veterans and first responders, with the emblems of local fire and police departments adorning the side.
