Not Quite Fallen. Delaware Coastline Railroad 19 (ex-MDDE 19, exx-CR 9846, exxx-PC 9846, exxxx-PRR 9846, née-PRR 8426, Alco T6, 3/1958) made a rare appearance outside on Friday, November 19, 2021. After Delmarva Central Railroad won the bid to take over the contract with the State of Delaware to operate what had been DCLR's service area, which was effective January 1, 2019, the DCLR ceased moving customer freight. Since then, their moves have consisted of mechanical work and equipment sales on the small piece of track that adjoins their shop. The Alco T6 is a rare breed of engine, with only 57 units built of this model. The engine is stored inside, and is not accessible to the public, but has been sold to a private owner.
