Remarks & Notes

The calm before the storm. The sun rises on storm clouds rolling into Southern California on what is to be the first substantial rain in California since last winter. Though it won't cure the drought hopefully it's a start. Amtrak California no.770 the early morning Surfliner from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles races the storm. A revised schedule and added trains begins operation today.
