"Hauling Freight Over Hicksville"
New York & Atlantic Railway's RS-40 hauls a cut of freight over the city of Hicksville at Divide Interlocking on Long Island Rail Road's Main Line. From it's opening in 1837, the Main Line ran at grade and featured several grade crossings. On September of 1964, a $15 million grade-separation project was completed, which eliminated 7 grade crossings, added a new Hicksville station, parking and newer track configuration.
