A coal load tops the 3% section below Pando on Tennessee Pass. The train is struggling against multiple curves some as tight as 12 degrees at Stillwater under a steady light rain. This location was full of broken knuckles as it was where the head-end throttled down and the Helpers would still be shoving in Run-8. Sometimes things would not work out and the train would beak in two....
