It's almost mid day in Chattanooga, TN, and traffic is starting pick up on the CNO&TP 2nd District. NS 251 the iconic Triple Crown Roadrailer marches it's way cross the Tennessee River into the terminal heading to the crew change point at Brown. Like I said once before like any other day in the year 2015. It was a common sight to see the Roadrailer come through Chattanooga on a daily bases. It's hard to say that years after this photo was taken NS 251, and counter part 264 was abolish by Norfolk Southern Corp. A much bigger and understandable reason is that Intermodal was becoming a bigger thing on this corridor, and the once road to rail Triple Crown was becoming inefficient, and the equipment was suffering from ware and tear as well. An east and west service still exist for the Triple Crown, but for how long.
