| In 1978 Conrail was the contract operator for the New York MTA's Hudson Line service and the standard consist for off-peak Poughkeepsie shuttles was a pair of well-worn FL9s sandwiching a pair of coaches that had seen better days. This shuttle run out of Croton-Harmon was northbound along the Hudson at Cold Spring on a summer afternoon. Hopefully the air conditioning was working. |
