Remarks & Notes
Reading T-1 4-8-4 2102 leads a Philadelphia-bound excursion through Valley Junction on the Reading Belt Line. The train is coming from Belt Line Junction, and will travel on the Belt Line to Birdsboro, where it will join the main line to Philadelphia. I’m standing on a platform next to Valley Junction tower. The platform is part of a bridge carrying the Lebanon Valley line to Harrisburg. The track to the left is a connector that runs to Wyomissing Junction, where it joins the Lebanon Valley line.
