Remarks & Notes

NS 1801 adds a splash of color to a dull scene as the Ayer, MA to Chicago intermodal train crosses the frozen Mohawk River. SD70ACC rebuild NS 1801 is one of 2 Caterpillar Yellow specially painted DC to AC rebuilds done as part of the Progress Rail program. NS 4118 (another DC to AC rebuild with it's car body mods still in primer) leads the train.
