Remarks & Notes
It was a busy afternoon at the Iowa Northern's Bryant Yard in Waterloo. The train on the left is the Waterloo Switcher who just got back from the CN with interchange. Job in the middle is the South Crew who just got back from the UP with interchange. Engine on the far right is local unit being used in training classroom today. All the jobs will put away soon and get out of the way for the 15:00 Fairbank Job that will leave next. Not a real common afternoon for traffic.

Freight Cowls are standard locomotives that have a hood that extends the full width of the locomotive. Sadly, most Freight Cowls have been retired, but a few still run on short lines.
