For the forthcoming winter steam weekend, on friday 25th January the line of the DVZO from Bauma to Bäretswil had to be cleared from snow and ice. 2-6-0 Ed 3/4 # 2 "Hinwil" is ready at Bauma with the snow plow X # 59, which was built in 1948 for the SBB. With the plow between the two axles, the snow can be removed inside the track until below the rail head.
