Remarks & Notes

The year is 1984 and the Western Pacific disappeared into the Union Pacific a year ago. WP Geeps began showing up on locals around the Los Angeles area where I was on a short term assignment in Long Beach. Seen in this view is an "Extra Pedro" in the refinery district of Wilmington moving coal empties out of the ABLE facility in San Pedro. Scanned from a color print.
