2216 North Smith Road. In a scene that could easily have a time-stamp anytime during the last 80 years or so, a 400-ton, Pere Marquette Berk hauls a passenger train across the agricultural landscape of Central Michigan on a cloudy, chilly winter day.

Photo taken from private property with permission of the land owner, who was kind enough to allow our charter group to photograph the train from his yard.

Images from two Lerro Productions events, 10 years apart: 2009 and 2019. The 2009 featured a 31-car freight and NKP 765. The 2019 trip showcased just the 1225 with the Steam Railroading Institute's passenger consist.
