| A Soo Line SD40/SD40-2 duo leads D&H 266 into Oak Island Yard. During the mid-90s it was not uncommon to see Soo Line units mixed with CP and even D&H power on this train. In the distance, a brand new pair of bright blue Conrail SD60Ms stands out amid the dreary landscape. The muddy area to the left of the train and in the foreground was part of the D&H "intermodal facility" within Oak Island. It wasn't much to look at, but it did remain fairly active through the late 90s. |
