Remarks & Notes
Merry Christmas from Maine! The WW&F Railway Museum's 1891-era Portland Forney #9 runs light in the north yard at Sheepscot, preparing to haul the first of the day's Christmas Express Trains.

On December 15, 2018, the Museum hosted its 18th annual Victorian Christmas event, which is and always has been free to the public. Santa and Mrs. Claus take up residence at the line's Alna Center Station, and all day long the trains transport families to visit with the jolly old elf. There are treats, hot drinks horse & wagon rides and even a live steam railroad for the kids to enjoy. On this particular day, the trains hauled 875 patrons, with the last returning from Alna Center just about at sunset.

Victorian Christmas is the museum's way of thanking the local communities for their support and patronage throughout the year.
