| "Metropolitans at New Haven?"
A six car set of Metro North Budd M3As sits on Track 2 at New Haven Union Station, ready to be towed back to third rail territory. Metro North has two wheel truing shop locations; Croton Harmon located on the Hudson Line and New Haven located on the New Haven Line. When the workload at the Croton location becomes heavy, trains that you would normally wouldn't see under wire (M3As & M7As) are towed up to New Haven. |
