| BFSI passes the Buffalo Rochester & Pittsburgh tower at Ashford Junction. Ashford is where the Buffalo Branch split from the main line to Rochester. In the 1990s, a failing bridge near Springville caused the B&P traffic to shift to the former PRR Buffalo Line north of Machias and ended the use of Ashford as a junction point. |
