Five 38-series GP’s and a GP40 lead Conrail train WJAL-1 up the grade on the Bangor & Portland Division in East Bangor, Pennsylvania. Before symbol UPS was instituted for Portland Generating Station unit coal trains, the coal came to Allentown, and was operated from there to Portland as WJAL-1.
