On August 31, 2018, Dakota, Missouri Valley & Western’s “wayfreight” has just finished switching at Coal Creek and departs northbound onto the main line headed for the CP interchange at Max as it crosses County Road 23 twice while negotiating the wye at Coal Creek Junction.
