The Cumbres & Toltec was extremely busy on Saturday, September 29. Beside the two “regular” trains from Chama and Antonito, there was a charter photo freight from Antonito and Osier, and a Galloping Goose turn between Chama and Cumbres. Even with a choice of four movements, the regular train from Chama had enough passengers to warrant double-headed K36 power. Here that train passes the iconic location at Jukes Tree.
