The sun is just about to set on July 4, 2018, over Winston Hill in Montana. A westbound BNSF unit oil train grinds upgrade through the curves at milepost 214 on MRL’s Second Subdivision, while a BNSF coal empty waits in the siding at Winston at the top of the hill, still glinting the evening sun.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
