Looking like somewhere on Stevens Pass in Washington state, BNSF 8204 cuts through trees and rocks in rainy weather at Palmer Jct. in upper Michigan. The train is a CN train from Gladstone, MI which had arrived to Partridge, a small yard around the corner from this photo. At this point the train is moving from CN trackage to LS&I trackage and will deliver the train to them at Eagle Mills. The right hand trackage has belonged to LS&I for decades, but the trackage occupied by BNSF 8204 was CNW, UP, WC and is now CN.
