Remarks & Notes
Former DRGW tunnel motor 5401, last patched by the Union Pacific and numbered 9871 is one of the last surviving DRGW flagged SD40T-2's. There were 73 originally purchased and in their heyday could be found running through the now defunct Tennessee Pass. 9871 sits next to DRGW 683, the only surviving Denver & Rio Grande Western standard gauge steam engine.
