BNSF’s Denver to Laurel manifest freight enters Hime Canyon at Himes, Wyoming, on the morning of June 27, 2018. The train is negotiating what is reportedly the sharpest curve on a BNSF main line, and is powered by a pair of EMDs—BNSF SD70ACe No. 9211 and leased PRLX SD75M No. 219. That old warbonnet sure has seen better days, but the scenery does have a bit of “southwest” flavor to it.
