Remarks & Notes

The NKP 587 and NW 1218 are doubleheading up the kudzu-covered Southern Loops, on their way to Asheville, NC, during the 1989 NRHS Convention. Today, the 587 is in pieces in Kentucky, and the 1218 is in repose in Roanoke.
