Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 9 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) is on the control run in the gorge of the Furkareuss, before pulling train # 133 this day. The 2-6-0 was built in 1914 by the SLM for the Brigue-Furka-Disentis Railway (BFD), run then for the successor Furka-Oberalp Bahn (FO) and was sold to Vietnam in 1947, after electrification of the FO. Brought back to Switzerland in 1990 as scrap, revision in Meiningen/Germany in 1993. New large revision by workshop Chur in 2013 and since then lettered as "BFD # 9" (Brigue-Furka-Disentis # 9).
