With a national weather service forecast calling for 95% cloud coverage we skipped the trip to Joso...and slept in a little. When I woke up and saw the clouds we hauled ass to the closest thing from our hotel. Here a Westbound train is crossing the Columbia River just after sunrise.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
