Remarks & Notes
Timetabled historic train of the RhB with "Crocodile" or "C-C" Ge 6/6 I # 414 is crossing the 89 meter high and 210 meter long Wiesener viaduct. This stone arch viaduct with a main span of 55 meter is the highest of the Rhaetian Railway and the second highest railway viaduct in Switzerland, crossing the Landwasser creek. It was built from 1906 to 1909 and is part of the line from Filisur to Davos Platz through the Zügen gorge. This train is running daily two times from Davos to Filisur and back till october 28th, replacing the usual modern trains and useable with all tickets without supplement. The Ge 6/6 I is pulling covered freight car K # 5615, dining car B # 2138 "Filisurer Stübli", second class B # 2246, open observation B # 2100 and first class parlor car As # 1141. The line has more then a dozen tunnels, the longest over 900 meter, so in the open observation car you can enjoy a real ghost train feeling.

Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
