Remarks & Notes
The Blonay-Chamby Railroad Museum is celebrating 50 years of service in 2018. 5 steamlocomotives are invited as guests for the celebration. So this meeting of two totally different steamlocmotives with very different tasks is possible. The tiny work locomotive G 2/2 "Ticino" from 1889 (Jung bei Jungenthal/Germany) weighs about 6,5 ton only. On the right the large cogwheel locomotive HG 3/4 # of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB), lettered as FO # 4 (Furka-Oberalp-Bahn # 4), built by SLM in 1913, which weighs 42 ton in working order.
